Visit London
Following a successful three year relationship, Visit London, the official visitor organisation for the capital, has renewed its contract with Protean Design after successfully tendering through the ‘Compete For' website.
The company, that provides unique, versatile and sustainable display systems for installation in exhibitions for the business and leisure markets, will be developing the Form system for Visit London's up and coming renowned worldwide event programme.
Protean Design put forward a detailed proposal as part of the tender process and won the competitive pitch to deliver a new format and design, which includes business and tourism, and leisure and tourism exhibitions.
A new modular design was developed by Protean Design that provided an effective solution across the entire marketing programme. The format will reflect the style and presence of London as a world leading venue by being reusable and adaptable, allowing the stand elements to be moved around the country and to worldwide exhibitions.
As well as being a sustainable, flexible and adaptable system, Form provides few restrictions to design layout concepts, integrates the latest in audio visual hardware and will meet the challenge of storage during periods of non-use by being fully demountable.
As Visit London travels around the world, with key exhibitions being in Barcelona, Frankfurt and London, Form provides a flexible resource, ideal for shipping from country to country lightly, lowering costs. Another key feature is that the stand construction is flexible allowing the visual image and physical content to be changed and updated to suit the focus and content of the various exhibitions, conferences and events attended by Visit London, thereby showcasing the versatility of the Form system itself and the overall design..

The Form walling system provides a fully re-usable and re-configurable robust aluminium framework, which is clad with in this instance with recyclable composite aluminium panels. The ‘snap-on' application of the panels to the face of the framework uses the unique and concealed Form clip-strips - all the manufacturing is done prior to site ensuring a high quality finish everytime!
