Protean provides a unique Form system for Zebra Technologies
Protean Design was recently commissioned by Zebra Technologies Europe Limited to create a themed and strongly branded showroom area within their head office in Buckinghamshire. The brief also emphasised the multi-use of the space, requiring it to be flexible enough to be used as a showroom or meeting room facility.
Another key aspect of the decision made by Zebra Technologies to utilise the design created by Protean was the speed of installation and the flexibility of the system. Protean Design created a system that integrated shape and curves to what was a plain space by introducing both Form and Lite walling systems, in order to stylishly display all products.
Colin Hibbs, Managing Director, Protean Design added: "We were tasked with providing a system to revitalise a small sterile unused area of the new office development that Zebra moved into. We are delighted with the result as the Form system has transformed the space into a usable multi-functional area."
The Form walling system provides a fully re-usable and re-configurable robust aluminium framework, which is clad with, in this instance, recyclable composite aluminium panels. The ‘snap-on' application of the panels to the face of the framework uses the unique and concealed Form clip-strips - all the manufacturing is done prior to site ensuring a high quality finish everytime.
