Following the success of the Budget unit in the new wing at Stansted Airport, BAA contracted Protean to work with Deane And Amos and provide Reform walling to another empty unit within the onward travel area.
The Reform framework was clad with rolled composite aluminium sheet pre finished with a coloured polypropylene skin. The result was quick, clean installation and a flexible interior that could be refreshed quickly and cost effectively or indeed completely reconfigured with a reuse of up to 100% of all materials.
18 months on and the unit looks as good as when it was initially installed. Reform can provide rapid temporary construction or a solution for longer term continued flexibility.
